World of Judo mourns about death of 26-year old Ilona Perge

Hungarian judo mourns about the loss of Hungarian judoka Ilona Perge due to a car accident at the age of 26.

Ilona Perge was European U17 Champion in 2000 in Oradea was a great talent. In 2005 and 2006 she collected two other European medals winning the bronze at the U23 Championships. In 2006 she won the Super World Cup in Moscow U48kg. She became four times Hungarian Champion. She was a member of the Hungarian women’s team winning a bronze medal at the European Team Championships in 2005.

The funeral of Ilona Perge will be held next Monday 8 March.
