RETURN TO COMPETITION FOR CADETS AND JUNIORS FOLLOWING SENIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

RETURN TO COMPETITION FOR CADETS AND JUNIORS FOLLOWING SENIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

There is finally light at the end of a long tunnel for our cadet and junior athletes with the plan in place to restart European Cups for cadets, juniors and seniors.

As we are still enduring the pandemic, events will still require the full application of the IJF Covid protocol and rules applied for EJU events to ensure the safety of all athletes. All athletes, delegations and LOC must stay within the bubble as we currently operate and National Federations must send a Covid Manager.

In order to control safety measures, there will be a quota set per federation. In accordance with safety precautions, there is a minimum of two weeks between each event and training camps associated with tournaments remain prohibited.

The main goal is provide a safe environment for these athletes who have already been without competition for over a year. We look forward to allowing their continuation of development for our younger judoka as they proceed to reach their goals.
