Anastasia Matrosova (UKR) ready for fourth World Cup win in Minsk

In Minsk the women’s World Cup takes place. For the ninth time the women are fighting for the medals and points for the IJF World Ranking. Women from 14 different countries fight in the sport palace. On Saturday in the categories of U48, U52 and U57kg. The other four categories on Sunday. In the U63kg there are 20 participants, U57kg 16 participants. Among those three strong French participants like Barbara Harel, Caroline Lantoine and Audrey La Rizza.
In the U63kg category Sarah Clark shall be one of the favourites. She won the event in 2007 as well.
Under the participants, 19 Russian women who will have a big hand in the medals.
One of 18 home favourites will be Volha Leschanka U48kg. On Sunday Anastasia Leshkova (U63) and Sviatlana Tsimashenka (U78kg) will try to win their categories for the home crowd.
Under the Ukrainian participants 27-year old Anastasia Matrosova who had won this event three times (1998, 1999 and 2001) previous World Cups here in Minsk.
