Esa Niemi has been elected to the post of president in annual meeting of Finnish Judo Association last weekend. Tapio Mäki finished his 12 years period as a federation´s president to get more time for international functions. Esa Niemi is former vice president of the federation and he has been president of Finland´s biggest judo club Tikkurila Judo Club for the last 12 years. The new elected president works at Niemi Services Ltd as owner and director. Annual meeting agreed long term strategy for the period 2013-2020. The purpose of the strategy is to create tools and circumstances which make possible to reach highest level of success in judo, local level management and communication. Re-elected board members are Henry Lipponen and Juhani Tanayama. New board members are Harri Hagman and Ms. Maija Mustonen.
