A record number of participants at the 2012 European Kata Championships in Koper, Slovenia. This weekend the city of Koper hosts the European Kata Championships 2012. At the championships in this beautiful city at the Slovenian coast a record-breaking number of 100 pairs from 18 countries will participate, unique in the european kata championships history. The Slovenian team will be represented with an all time high number of five pairs. First day will feature competion in 5 different katas in two age groups. Day one will be completed with the opening ceremony in the late afternoon. At the final day on Sunday the open tournament will be demonstrated with a spectacular judo-show.
