Today we showed a smaller performance of what we will demonstrate during the opening ceremony of the European Championship, which is planned for Friday, April 26. It’s the first time we are doing a cross-over with judo but we hope it’s not the last time. Today, judo was demonstrated through dynamic elements of acrobatics and break dance which were performed by ten male and female dancers. – said renowned choreographer Lipovac.

Shortly after, the judokas of JK “Zagreačka judo škola” took over the tatami and showed numerous passers-by elements of judo such as falls, throws. The team also delivered a simulation of a judo fight in which Noa (6) and Bruno (7) decided to oppose larger and older club mates . Coach Matija JUG-DUJAKOVIĆ gave the younger competitors an additional boost with advice that ultimately enabled them to win.
