Event doctor at the Judo World Championship, Martin Loonen of the Netherlands, said she had suffered ligament damage.
“It looks like she has injured her ligaments in her left ankle. I do not think anything is broken, it is probably a contusion or a ligament disruption, but the exact diagnosis will be made in the hospital,” he said.
