Europe is the strongest continent on the globe in judo. Also in regard to veteran judo, Europe is the benchmark. Our European Championships are amazingly strong with over 1000 participants.
In 2017 the Veteran European Judo Championships take place in Zagreb (Croatia). This year the EJU offers also a Veterans Training Camp after the championships (19 -20 June). With more than 70 athletes from 15 countries was this camp a great success.
The EJU has the ambition to build out the veterans competitions in terms if participation, organisation and exposure. At this page you can see the Veterans commission and check the calendar for next year. Enjoy the pictures of the past veterans competitions in our photo gallery. Soon we hope to help you with a checklist what you need if you go to a veterans event.
