2nd EJU Judo Festival

2ND EUROPEAN SCIENCE OF JUDO RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM

The European Judo Union invited European researchers at the EJU Judo Festival in Antalya to present their work. The Education Commission, along with a selected panel of judges and the EJU experts group have introduced the 2nd Scientific European Symposium on research into Judo. In total twelve new posters were presented. „The aim is to connect the research – the theory – with the experience – and the practise”, explained Prof. Attilio Sacripanti, EJU research director. He added: “This research work helps to improve the level of European judo.” The main goal this time was to develop judo at school. That was also the wish of the EJU experts who listened to the presentations and also gave their feedback to the presented results.
The winner of last year’s poster exhibition, Luis Monteiro, who had previously won the fifth poster exhibition of Judo Research also won this year. Second place went to the team from Zagreb, Croatia: Ivan Sertic and Hrvoje Sertic.
