500 Days to go, No Doping in Judo

500 Days to go, No Doping in Judo

The countdown has begun. There are 500 days left before the start of the Olympic Games, London 2012. The International Judo Federation has already begun working hard for the organization of this major event. Every month, events take place all over the world, where athletes from our 200 national federations can compete for Olympic qualification. In that framework, as the IJF, we want to promote fair competition for all judoka, with the only difference being made on the tatami by the value of the competitors. That is why the IJF is strongly promoting the cleanliness and fairness of judo in accordance with the spirit and tradition of our sport. Today, we strongly ask all Continental Unions, National Federations and athletes to respect these principles and to promote the real values of sport.
