DATA Project Team at the European Sport Congress 2025 in Lille

The Erasmus+ DATA – Digital Administrative and Training Assistant project team is currently attending the European Sport Congress 2025, held in Lille, France, on 4–5 November. Representatives from all partner organisations are present at the event, joining hundreds of experts, practitioners, and policymakers to explore innovation and digital transformation in sport.

The DATA project was showcased during the Communications session, where Đina Škulić and Magda Maras Berić from the Rijeka Sports Association delivered a joint presentation on how the project is supporting the digital transition of sport organisations across Europe.

“Presenting the Erasmus+ project DATA – Digital Administrative and Training Assistant at the European Sport Congress 2025 in Lille was an inspiring experience,” said Đina Škulić. “It was an opportunity to show how digital tools can truly empower sports organisations, from coaches and athletes to managers and parents. Our presentation sparked discussions on the future of sport digitalisation and how solutions like the DATA App can simplify management, strengthen communication and promote innovation in clubs across Europe. Sharing the stage with outstanding colleagues from different Erasmus+ projects reminded us how powerful collaboration and knowledge exchange can be when it comes to shaping the future of sport.”

Magda Maras Berić added:
“It was an honour to present our work on the Erasmus+ DATA project during the Communications session of the EU Sport Congress 2025. The feedback we received confirmed that the digital transition of sport organisations is not just a trend, but a real need. We were proud to highlight how the DATA App will provide a user-friendly and accessible digital platform that supports clubs in their daily operations and enhances collaboration within the sport community. The Congress offered an excellent platform to exchange experiences with other EU initiatives and to connect with experts who share our vision of a smarter, more connected sports sector.”

The presence of the entire DATA project consortium in Lille underscores the team’s strong commitment to collaboration and knowledge exchange, key values driving the Erasmus+ initiative. The Congress provided an opportunity for partners to meet with other stakeholders, discuss future synergies, and gather valuable insights to further develop the project’s digital solutions.

By showcasing the DATA App and its innovative approach to sport management, the project team reaffirmed its mission to support sports organisations across Europe in embracing digital tools that enhance efficiency, inclusivity, and communication, ultimately strengthening the foundations of sport in the digital era.
