Joint Stock Company for Insurance Triglav Insurance, Belgrade (New Belgrade) has existed in Serbia for many years, and this many years of experience in our market, among other things, determines the stability of TRIGLAV Insurance, which is gaining the trust of an increasing number of clients from year to year.

Triglav osiguranje a.d.o. Beograd (New Belgrade) is a Serbian insurance company that belongs to the leader in insurance in the Adria region – Triglav Group. The beginning of its work dates back to 1972, when the Insurance Institute “Sava” from Ljubljana began to operate in the territory of the Republic of Serbia, and in 1976 it was re-registered in the Insurance Association “Triglav”. After the adoption of the Law on Property and Personal Insurance, in 1990, the Belgrade Area Association separated from the composition of the Insurance Association “Triglav” and re-registered in the Joint Stock Insurance Company “Kopaonik” from Belgrade, retaining all assets and policyholders. In accordance with the new Law in 1997, the Joint Stock Insurance Company “Kopaonik” was re-registered as the Joint Stock Company for Insurance “Kopaonik” – Belgrade.

In mid-2006, “Triglav Insurance” from Slovenia became the owner of “Kopaonik” Insurance by purchasing a complete package of shares, i.e. the newly named insurance company “Triglav Kopaonik” became part of the “Triglav Group”.

Triglav osiguranje a.d.o. Beograd (New Belgrade) is registered for all types of non-life and life insurance. Like its legal predecessors, it performs property and personal insurance, except for reinsurance, which until 1990 was done through ZO “Triglav” Ljubljana, and after that through DDOR Novi Sad RE and Danube RE. At the beginning of the work, life insurance was more prevalent, but with the development and territorial expansion, property insurance also comes to the fore.

Starting from the motto – insurance is cheap, and damage is expensive, the goal of Triglav osiguranje a.d.o. Beograd (New Belgrade) is to protect the insured from the risk of possible accidents, which can endanger business and life.

In the Company, in addition to the primary task of issuing quality insurance policies according to the needs of clients, quality and fast assessment and payment of claims is extremely important.

With constant innovations, Triglav osiguranje a.d.o. Beograd (New Belgrade) strives to respond to the needs of the market in the best possible way, but also to transfer excellent experiences from the market in the region. Also, the introduction of new and development of existing communication and sales channels is one of the recognized imperatives of quality business and improvement of long-term relationships with clients.

The expansion of the business network follows the development of the entire Company, and in accordance with the increase in market share, many new branches, branches and sales offices have been opened with the primary goal of accessibility to clients.
