Major Milestone Achieved for DATA Project

The DATA Project consortium is pleased to announce the official launch of the “Data Management in Sport” online course (basic level), now available to sport professionals across Europe. The initiative forms part of an Erasmus+ project dedicated to strengthening digital transformation in sport, in which the European Judo Union is an active partner, contributing its expertise in education, innovation and organisational development.

Accessible via the SportAcademy platform, the course provides a comprehensive, evidence-based framework designed to help organisations understand, plan and implement effective digital solutions. In an increasingly fast-moving sporting environment, the programme aims to foster innovation, improve organisational resilience and support long-term strategic growth through smarter data management.

The basic level course is tailored for a wide range of stakeholders, including sport managers, club administrators, coaches, trainers, executives and board members seeking to enhance their digital vision. Participants will gain practical tools to navigate digital transformation, optimise administrative processes and encourage a more sustainable, data-driven culture within their organisations.

By contributing to the DATA Project, the European Judo Union reinforces its commitment to education, digital readiness and the continuous professional development of the wider sport community. The launch of this online course marks another important milestone in empowering sport organisations to embrace technology while maintaining the core values and human connection at the heart of judo.
