From 13–15 March 2026, Lommel becomes a meeting point for Europe’s rising judo talent as the Ilse Heylen Judo Academy, in collaboration with the European Judo Union, welcomes athletes to Sportpark De Soeverein for an intensive three-day training camp. With more than 1000m² of tatami space, five high-quality training sessions and shared meals designed to refuel and reconnect, this camp offers the perfect environment for U15 through to senior judoka to sharpen their skills, test themselves against international training partners and strengthen their connections within the wider judo community.

Sportpark De Soeverein, Sportveldenstraat 10, 3920 Lommel, Belgium.
Fee
€100 per participating athlete for a full training camp (5 training sessions – 4 meals). Single training sessions/meals can be booked.
Age
U15: year of birth 2012 and 2013 (motivated judoka year of birth 2014 are welcome).
U18, U21, U23, 21+: year of birth 2011 or earlier.

Responsibility of the delegations
The participants will participate under the full responsibility of their federation, clubs, coaches. Each delegation is responsible for insuring its judoka against ‘injury and third part risk (public liability)’ during the period of the camp. The Ilse Heylen Judo Academy declines all responsibility.

Our preferred partners for accommodation are Center Parcs De Vossemeren Lommel. Delegations should make their reservations themselves. Please check the Golden House Rules that are applicable when you stay at one of the parcs.
