As part of the upcoming Benidorm Olympic Training Camp (OTC), the second of three EJU referee seminars for coaches and athletes this year will take place on Wednesday, 20 May at 12:45, further enhancing understanding and cooperation with officials.
During the camp, Nuno Carvalho, EJU Referee Commissioner, will be present throughout the training sessions. As always, he will be available to support coaches and athletes who wish to receive direct guidance, clarification and insight into refereeing decisions in a practical, on-mat environment.
Immediately following the morning training session, a one-hour referee seminar will take place in the hall. During this session, Mr Carvalho will outline key aspects of refereeing decisions, offering clear explanations and practical examples. Coaches and athletes will also be encouraged to engage actively, sharing their comments, questions and reflections.
This initiative aims to continue strengthening the relationship between coaches and referees, while ensuring all stakeholders are best prepared for the upcoming Olympic qualification period.
