For young people looking to combine their passion for judo with an unforgettable international experience, an exciting opportunity awaits in Germany.
The Leipziger Sportlöwen Judo Club, one of the largest judo clubs in the country, is offering a fully funded placement through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). The programme gives participants the chance to spend a year in Leipzig, gaining valuable experience both on and off the tatami.
More than just a volunteering opportunity, the placement offers cultural exchange, personal development and the chance to become part of a vibrant international community. Participants will work with children, support judo activities and contribute to the daily life of a successful club, all while developing new skills and building friendships with people from across Europe.
The programme includes free accommodation, personal support and mentoring throughout the year, ensuring volunteers can make the most of their experience abroad.
For anyone with a love of judo, a desire to work with young people and a sense of adventure, this could be the perfect next step.
