The International Judo Federation announced today that the Senior World Championships held in the Olympic year will take place in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi.
Between the 19th and 24th of May, many athletes will have their last opportunity to compete, and in some cases qualify, for the Paris Olympic Games 2024. Abu Dhabi is already a highlight stop on the IJF World Judo Tour and the city can now boast the IJF prime event, inclusive of the mixed team spectacle.
