BELGRADE AWAITS FOR A SUCCESSFUL WEEKEND

The last European Judo Open of 2017 will take place in Belgrade, Serbia. Almost 300 athletes from 33 different nations will travel to Belgrade to seek for success. The host nation will endeavour to shine with 68 competitors.  

Those who follow the cadet events will be very familiar with names such as Marica PERISIC and Anja OBRADOVIC. Both athletes proved to belong from the best in their age and weight division. Obradovic will be competing in the -63 kg category alongside her sister, Jovana OBRADOVIC who is currently strengthens the Serbian junior team. Earlier mentioned Perisic will follow the footsteps of more experience, Jovana ROGIC in the -57 kg category. The elites line up follows with high classed, Milica NIKOLIC who normally competes in the -48 kg category, however, for the upcoming weekend she will challenge the -52 kg category. Stefan MAJDOV will feed off her brother’s success, Nemanja, who won the senior World title a few weeks back. Stefan will test the -81kg category. Zarko CULUM will also be looking for victory on his doorstep when he takes on all competitors of the +100 kg category.
