The Serbian Judo Federation is the host of the fifth ever European Cup for Seniors in Belgrade. This fifth jubilee edition gathered 277 athletes from 23 nations.
“Dear friends, it’s my pleasure to host you again in Belgrade. I’m very honoured to see you in this big number, lot of old but lot of new faces among the coaches. As the organisers I hope that we will justify your expectations here. I wish you all good luck and good fights!” – the President of Serbian Judo Federation Ivan Todorov said before the official draw started.
Todorov was accompanied by EJU Sports Director Pavel Yasenovski, EJU Marketing Director Alexander Nagibin and EJU Member of Referee Commission Bernd Achilles.
Besides that athletes will try to do their best on the mat, here in Belgrade is also IJF B-licence examination which brought more than 40 referees in Serbia.
