BUCHAREST TO HOLD BOTH EUROPA LEAGUE & CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TOGETHER

The tournament will be opened on Friday, the 7th of December with EJU Prime Event – the Champions League for both men and women (former Golden League). Saturday will showcase all matches of the Men edition of the Europa League. On the final day, the women’s team event will close and mark another successful year.

Althought, it is the first time that these two events are taking place at the same place, it is not the first time that Bucharest hosts a judo event. Romania is regular on the EJU yearly calendar with different events across different age groups. Now that the surprise is revealed, we would like to invite all judo fans to join us in Bucharest and celebrate another remarkable year of our unique sport, judo.

The history of the two level club team events began in 2014 and they had usually been hosted by two different national federations. This year marks a special moment for European judo community as both victories will be celebrated on one place so fans will not have to make taugh decisions on where to go, as they can fully enjoy the three days event at one place.
