An update was provided regarding the upcoming fifth edition of the European Universities Games which will take place in Belgrade, Serbia, this July. Judo has been included on the sports programme of the 2021 Games, and EJU referee nominations were brought to the table.

Of course, the topic of COVID-19 was discussed with possible solutions suggested for events based on current knowledge and experience.

As there are limited spaces available for the judo competition at EUG2021, contact should be made as soon as possible, with the second general entry registration deadline set for Monday, the 15th of February.

Interested participants should contact their National University Sport Association, or visit www.eug2021.eu.
