This week the EJU Moral Code Cartoon will demonstrate ‘self control’ with the new video online.
At the very heart of everything we do, we live the judo code. Self control is the ability to control oneself, in the case of judo, one’s emotions, especially in difficult situations. It can also be seen as self restraint or self discipline.
The next episode will go online on the 4th of October.
This cartoon series is a user friendly way to communicate the meaning of each of the values; courtesy, courage, friendship, sincerity, honour, modesty, respect or self-control. It will be released every week and can be used by clubs, coaches, parents and of course athletes. Rather than a document or poster, this is a fun way to learn about our sport.
You can also check out the previously published cartoons; courtesy and courage in the YouTube playlist.
