As part of the EJU Online Judo Festival, our Refereeing Director, Mr Alexandr Jatskevich will be going live this evening at 18:00 (CEST).
Along with our many other practical sessions including kids classes with Sergio Oliveira; yoga with Joyce Malley and Kata with a variety of experts including Wolfgang Dax-Romswinkel, we can now introduce a new aspect of education.
Refereeing Director and former athlete, Alexandr Jatskevich will be live streaming at 18:00 (CEST) today discussing all matters ‘refereeing’. This will be a fantastic opportunity to make sure you are up to date with the current rules and benefit from expert knowlege in this forum.
Specifically, this seminar will play a selection of videos which Alexandr will further discuss to explain the referees decision making process and give judoka an explanation of the result, including aspects of ‘diving’ and kaeshi-waza situations.
Our behaviour on the tatami coincides with our moral values, respecting our opponents and training partners and by playng by the rules this can be adhered to.
