The European Judo Family is sad to announce the loss of Michel KOZLOWSKI (66), former Head Kata Commissioner of the European Judo Union passed away today on 27 February 2023.
Michel Kozlowski was born on the 3rd of March 1956 in Ougrée, Belgium. As well as his role as Head Kata Commissioner of the European Judo Union, he was also IJF Kata Sport Director, and long-standing member of Belgium Judo Federation.
Always attentive and available, Michel Kozlowski was not only an expert, he was also a passionate person who could be counted on to advance the cause of sport, especially judo. During the Senior European Championships 2022 we were able to personally award Michel for his hard work and effort during the 2021 period for the Development of Education.
