EYOF: It Is Almost Time!

With a total of 341 competitors from 44 countries, the European Youth Olympic Festival is set to be a memorable on for all those involved. The cadet-aged athletes will be offered an incomparable experience, a taste of what could come in the future. For now however, the focus is on experience, the kitting out days, the travel with the team among 15 disciplines, the opening ceremony an d coming together.

Many medallists from the Cadet European Championships held a matter of weeks ago will be making a reappearance. It is actually a stroke of luck for those that were involved as they will be familiar with the venue, the same one in Skopje, North Macedonia that hosted the EJU prime event.

Between the 22nd and 26th of July, we will see newly crowned EYOF Champions as well as the unmissable Mixed Team event, where there will be 23 nations taking part. The five-day event will be streamed on JudoTV.com. Below you can find the preliminary timetable which will be confirmed in the draw.

Individual Event: 22nd-25th July

Impressively, the multi sport event will see 10 world ranked number one athletes competing, a total of 49 competitors are within the top 10 of their respective categories, meaning we will see a tremendous level of athletic ability and talent, not only entertaining our own community, but for so many more who will be learning about judo next week.
