The European Judo Union, in cooperation with the University of Seville and the Croatian Judo Federation, invites you to the 4th International Training and Research Seminar: “Safe Fall—Safe Schools: JUDO UKEMI AT SCHOOL”, taking place in Zadar, Croatia, from 28–29 June 2025.
This important seminar offers a unique opportunity to explore how Judo Ukemi (falling) techniques can be successfully integrated into school curriculum to teach children how to fall safely, a vital life skill that can significantly reduce injury risk and promote long-term well-being.
Through a combination of theoretical discussions and practical sessions, participants will gain valuable insights into the pedagogical, scientific, and practical aspects of safe falling instruction in educational settings. The programme will utilise content from the free SAFE FALL App, available for iOS and Android devices, providing an interactive and accessible resource for educators and coaches.
