Free Strength and Conditioning Workshop by British Judo

Free Strength and Conditioning Workshop by British Judo

British Judo invites coaches and practitioners to attend the 4th Combat Sport Workshop at the home of British Judo, hosted at the University of Wolverhampton, Walsall Campus. The exclusive session, focused on strength and conditioning in combat sport, will take place on Sunday, 14 March 2026, from 9:30am to 4:00pm.

Participants are invited to join on site to learn from leading experts, take part in hands-on workshops, connect with fellow coaches and practitioners, and network with researchers working at the forefront of applied sport science.

This is a free event, though places are limited. To secure your place, please email Associate Professor of Sport and Exercise Science, Ross Cloak, at [email protected].

Mr Cloak is looking forward to welcoming attendees:

“This workshop has become an important platform for bridging applied sport science and real-world combat performance. What began as a single event has grown into a meaningful collaboration between practitioners, researchers and coaches, creating genuine knowledge exchange that directly impacts athlete preparation. Each year we have expanded both the depth and breadth of content, reflecting the evolving demands of combat sport and the continued strengthening of our partnership with British Judo.”
