FRENCH JUDO PIONEER WITH FIRST MIXED TEAM PRO LEAGUE IN FRENCH SPORT

Before we become completely immersed in one of the front-running events of the year, the IJF Masters in Jerusalem, let’s turn our attention to the 2024 Olympic hosts, France.

This weekend, the Final Four will compete in the Pro League taking place on the 17th of December at 20:00 in Paris. The two-hour spectacular will include the four best teams in the country go head to head in the Dojo de Paris, aligned with the Federation.

Highlights from the quarter finals.

France is one of the leading nations with historic and current success among their athletes as well as a wealth of experience in team settings leading to their Mixed Team Olympic success in Tokyo. Now instead of a national team, we will see their individual ones as we did in Gori, Georgia not so long ago.

This is an incredible opportunity to continue watching the worlds best perform on a grand stage. For the French Federation, this is yet another reason to celebrate as the Judo Pro League is pioneering as the first mixed teams case in French sport. The event started on the 15th of November and composed of 12 teams including Orléans Judo, who won the Champions League.
