Green Hill World Cup in Ostia: 312 athletes from 37 nations

There will a third post-Olympic appointment in Roma concerning the Greenhill World Cup. After those in Mongolia, (Ulaanbaatar, September 8-9, 2012 with 127 athletes from 13 nations) and Uzbekistan (Tashkent, September, 22-23 2012 with 118 athletes from 13 nations) this is the time of Italy in Ostia.

We will admire, the new champion of Europe coming from Greece in U20 in Porec, Georgios Azoidis (66) and Alexios Ntanatsidis (81, in the picture), together with Ludwig Paischer (60-Austria), Jean Yves Bottieau (81-Belgium) and Majlinda Kelmendi (52-Kosovo).

These are just few names we’ve already heard during the Olympic Games in London. The Italian Team is composed by 48 athletes, many of them really young: among them Elena Moretti is the only olympical athlete who will compete (52 kg) while Rosalba Forciniti won’t compete but she will be there. She will receive a special prize (together with Ilaria Sozzi, Marta Frittoli, Ubaldo Volpi, Maurizio Calderini, Andrea Fregnan and Stefano Moregola which have confirmed to be champions in Kata specialty at the latest Kata World Championship) for the important result.

On Sunday 30th, the young athletes will meet the Olympic Team and also two great Italian Champions: Jury Chechi and Antonio Rossi which results are still alive in our remembers.

Ostia, accommodates Olympic Training Centre with 200 athletes, as well as the directiing Committee of the EJU led by President Sergey Soloveychik, than it meets for the preparatory intense activities in sight of the next EJU Congress.
