Not only judoka and coaches strive for constant further development, the EUROPEAN JUDO UNION is also constantly raising its quality standards, especially when it comes to live streaming – i.e. JUDO TV. During the final blocks of the European Championships Under-23 in Potsdam (GER), a total of ten high-tech TV cameras will be used for live coverage on two mats.
“The importance of live streaming and the number of views are constantly increasing, most recently at the European Championships Seniors in Montpellier we had a reach of almost 2 million,” says EJU Senior Vice President Otto KNEITINGER.
Five cameras per final block and mat are planned for at least 15 EJU events in 2024. Potsdam is just the start of a new high-tech TV era.
