With many of our judo values contributing to our coping mechanisms in difficult periods, this is the time to apply them and is demonstrated around the world by individuals or clubs.

Are you or your club going that extra mile to bring everyone together during social distancing or isolation? 

Around the world we are in various situations, forcing us to find new and innovative ways to stay in contact and continue training without risking the health and safety of ourselves and others.

In recent weeks we have seen the contribution from our top athletes, of their daily workouts, motivational talks and using their platforms to raise spirits and awareness. However the clubs and federations are now rallying to help their communites. 

Judo Scotland’s High Performance Coach, Takafumi Kitahara, is leading a stay at home video helping the community to learn the basic principles of seoi nage. 

Ichiban Judo Club have put out a series of videos from judo legends including Kirill Denisov and in the above video, Denis Iartcev.
