KRPALEK DOUBLES THE JOY FOR THE CZECH AUDIENCE

Gold medalist -81kg category: Matteo MARCONCINI (ITA)

“I am really happy to win today because I was out for a while due to a shoulder injury. This was my first big tournament since my injury. Now I am fully recovered and I am still aiming to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.”

Gold medalist -90kg category: Mammadali MEHDIYEV (AZE)

“Today just felt perfect. Before this tournament I was in the training camp in Dusseldorf and I felt really good so I came here to fight. The expectation for myself was not less than the gold medal and I am happy to win it today. I will continue the hard work and prepare for the Olympics.”

Gold medalist -100kg category: Lukas KRPALEK (CZE)

“It was very important for me to win here today because my last two tournaments did not go well. I lost in Tokyo as well as in Paris. It was not good because I was tired all the time. Now I am doing a hard preparation for the Olympic Games. This tournament was great because it was at home and I like to fight here. Today was just perfect.”

Gold medalist +100kg category: Daniel NATEA (ROU)

“Today I felt really good because for six months I did not win a medal but today I won gold and 100 points with it. Now I can continue my preparation for the Olympic Games.”
