Dear judokas and judo enthusiasts,

As the president of the French Judo Federation, I am delighted to see this prestigious event taking place on our territory and I would like to congratulate all the participants who have worked hard to get there.

Kata is an essential aspect of judo and a martial art in its own right. It is a demanding discipline that requires a lot of rigor and concentration, but also brings many satisfactions and great pride. That is why I want to salute all the competitors who have chosen to take up this challenge and participate in this tournament.

I am convinced that this event will be a unique opportunity for all judokas across Europe to meet, exchange, and share their passion for Kata. I wish you all an excellent tournament and I am sure that you will proudly represent your respective countries.

Good luck to everyone and may the best win!

During this one-day event, the top three pairs with the maximum points in each Kata will be awarded. The total of 84 competitors from 10 different countries are heading to the city of Laon for the weekend.
