The 3rd International Conference on Safer Falling for Older Adults through Judo will be held from 12–14 December 2025 at Tokai University, Japan. The event is organised under the leadership of Dr. Mike Callan, EJU Scientific Commissioner, in collaboration with the University of Hertfordshire and JUDOS NPO, directed by Olympic Champion Kosei Inoue, and will be proudly hosted by Tokai University. The conference is supported by Judospace Educational Institute and Defier Corporation as principal sponsors, with the IJF Academy serving as an academic partner.
This year’s gathering is shaping up to be the most dynamic yet, with:
- 55 delegates confirmed from around 18–20 nations
- 43 interventions, including lectures and on-the-mat sessions
- A unique blend of academic, practical, and applied perspectives on safe falling practices inspired by judo.
