The last junior European Judo Cup will take place ahead of the 2019 Junior European Judo Championships. The last stop will view actions from Cluj-Napoca, Romania, during the upcoming weekend. Almost 300 competitors from 29 nations will be heading to the final test before the continental championships.

Georgia will have their most recent female Grand Prix bronze medallist at present with Eteri LIPARTELIANI who will compete at her usual, -57 kg category. The team can expect a medal shower as Mariam TCHANTURIA (-63 kg) and Sophio SOMKHISHVILI (+78 kg) also on their way. Other athletes to keep an eye on would be Vuk ELEZ (BIH) in the -81 kg alongside Hungarian duet, ARVAI Peter (-100 kg) and VEG Zsombor (-100 kg). Another junior judoka who already excelled at senior level, winning GP bronze in Hague 2018 and defeating numerous top opponents is Victor STERPU (MDA), who will take over the field of play in the -73 kg category. Serbia will brign their A-Team too with Andrea STOJADINOV (-48 kg), Marica PERISIC (-57 kg) and Anja OBRADOVIC (-63 kg). The host nation will attend the event with over 100 judoka with the aim of grasping a heavy medal tally. Good luck to all participants.
