Legendary Pinewood Judo Club Sensei Don Werner Passes Away

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of legendary Pinewood Judo Club Sensei Don Werner, who passed away peacefully on Thursday 9th January 2014.

In his time of over 50 years at Pinewood Judo Club, Don produced many National and International Champions, including Olympic Silver medallist and World Champion Nicola Fairbrother and World bronze medallist Karen Roberts amongst many others. Don’s funeral will be held on Friday, 31 January 2014 at 11.15 am at Easthampstead Park Crematorium, South Road, Off Nine Mile Ride, Bracknell RG40 3DW.
