Presidents of EJU member federations,
Dear Friends and members of our Judo Family,
I would like to congratulate you, the team of European Judo, with another year full of remarkable events, important achievements and successful cooperation. Apart from staging our regular European events, we managed to have judo advantageously represented at several multisport events in a close collaboration with the European Olympic Committees.
I am thankful to the trust and support as well as dedicated hard work of European federations: presidents, coaches, referees, medical and administration workers, our athletes and heroes of judo. The year 2016 will become very special for the judo history, and the much anticipated judo performances in Rio will show the result of our team work for the past 4 years.
I am happy that in our Road to Rio we have been concentrated not only on Olympic preparation but also on our educational seminars and programmes targeted to develop judo for all.
I would like to wish you a very joyful and happy holiday season. May you spend it with your families and friends – those close and loving people who support you during the year despite distances and challenges.
