The President of the Slovakian Judo Federation, Mr. Ján Krišanda, was named as the Vice-Chairman of the Sports Council in Slovakia. The respected announcement was conveyed by the Chairman of the freshly established Council of Ministry, Mr. Peter Plavčan.
Mr. Krišanda is now a professional, initiative and advisory member to the Minister for issues affecting sport. He will be responsible for the concept of sports development, sports representation, selection and training of talented athletes for prestigious competitions in the Slovak Republic. Furthermore, he will be in charge of the physical and technical support and development of sports infrastructure of national importance. The aim of the new member is to ensure the cooperation of all stakeholders involved in the tasks associated with the sports teams of the Slovak Republic.
