The Albania Judo Federation held its electoral assembly to elect its President and Executive Committee, marking a key event in the governance of judo in the country. The assembly brought together key colleagues and distinguished guests to oversee the process.
The event was also graced by the presence of the General Secretary of the National Olympic Committee of Albania and the Deputy Minister of Education and Sports, reflecting the high importance of the elections, not only for the federation but also for the wider sports community in Albania. The assembly provided a platform for discussion on the Federation’s goals, ongoing initiatives, and future direction, emphasising the vital role of strong leadership in fostering the growth of judo as a sport in Albania.
Following a transparent and well-organised voting process, the results were as follows;
President – Mr. Drin SHKRETA was elected President to lead the Albania Judo Federation, bringing with him a vision of progress and development for the sport.
General Secretary – Mr. Labo CAPO was chosen as General Secretary to serve in this critical administrative role, ensuring the effective management and coordination of the Federation’s activities.
The remaining Executive Committee members are:

Mr. Shkurt ÇULLHAJ – Technical Director
Mr. Enrik KOCA – Member
Mr. Maksim KURTI – Member
Mr. Marked LEMETI – Member
The newly elected leadership expressed their gratitude for the trust placed in them and reiterated their commitment to advancing judo in Albania, from grassroots initiatives to elite competition. Under the guidance of its leaders, the Albanian Judo Federation is ready for the next chapter.
