The EJU was saddened to know about the death of Mr Anatoly Rakhlin, Russian merited coach, who passed away on August, 7 in St Petersburg, Russia, at age of 75 after a long illness.
On behalf of our European judo family, Mr President Soloveychik extends his condolences to the Russian Judo Federation and the entire family of Mr Rakhlin: “Our thoughts are with Russian Judo who lost today one of its important and honoured members. Anatoly Rakhlin devoted his whole life to judo, as a coach he raised many judo masters of international level, he was teaching judo to many important people of the Russian Federation.”
