On February 7, 2025, President Dr. Sanda ČORAK was re-elected as President of the Croatian Judo Federation (CJF). The decision to become the “new old” President was made during the HJS electoral assembly in Zagreb, where she was confirmed by the members of the Federation, reflecting the enormous support and trust in her leadership and contributions to judo.

The Croatian Judo Federation and Croatian judo have achieved the results we have planned as a team and strived for since 2005 with their sporting results in the last ten or more years. Achieved sporting results at important international competitions are the primary criterion for assessing the success of any sports federation, including ours. Over the years, the results have been improving from the cadet to the senior national team, leading to European and world medals, and the last, historic, gold medal for Barbara MATIĆ in Paris 2024.

Speaking after her re-election, Sanda Čorak said:

I am glad that our clubs continue to support me, and thus support the teamwork in the Federation. We are entering a new period in which even greater organizational efforts will be needed to ensure the continuity of our sports results from the cadet to the senior national team. I am also looking forward to the new members of the Executive Committee and I hope that we will encourage as many children in the country as possible to take up judo.

Dean BOGIĆ was re-elected as the Vice-President of the HJS.

The following were elected as members of the Executive Committee: Dean BOGIĆ, Maks DIMOV, Slaviša BRADIĆ, Aldo ROJNIĆ, Klara MITROVIĆ, Branko CRNOV.

President Dr. Čorak also holds the position of Vice President of the Croatian Olympic Committee (CRO NOC) and is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Judo Federation (IJF), as the IJF Education Director.

The Croatian Judo Federation congratulates the President on her new sixth 4-year mandate!
