Whilst the elites are completing their final preparations for the upcoming World Championships, the cadets are just as much in the midst of their preparation phase. For many, this marks the beginning of their international journey, a proving ground where dreams begin to take shape and futures are quietly forged.
With just under a month left on the clock, anticipation is building fast for the European Judo Championships Cadets 2025, set to take place in Skopje, North Macedonia from 26th to 29th June. For the first time in history, North Macedonia will proudly host this prestigious event, marking a significant milestone for the country’s sporting landscape and its dedicated as well as passionate judo community.
As Dr László Tóth, President of the European Judo Union, shared in his welcome, “Competing at this level is already a commendable achievement. It is continuously about growth, resilience, and the lessons that shape you into the judoka you strive to be.”
Each day promises fierce competition, emotional victories and the crowning of Europe’s future champions. Vladimir Trpanoski, President of the North Macedonian Judo Federation, expressed his pride:
“This is a truly historic moment, not only for our federation but for our entire country. We are excited to welcome Europe’s rising stars and offer them an unforgettable experience on and off the tatami.”
