Olympic, World and European Champion in the -100kg category, Lukas KRPALEK (CZE) is a favourite among many fans, and not just at home. He is a legend in his own right and looks to prove his abilities in 2021.
It has been an interesting Olympic cycle, not only because it has become a five-year period, but there has also been a great shift in the +100kg category with many of the lighter men moving in to the open weight.
Krpalek is one of them and has taken a European and tremendous World title in his new category after becoming Olympic Champion in 2016, taking it again in Tokyo would make him an incredibly accomplished judoka in both weights.
