56 years ago the Dutch Judo legend Anton Geesink wrote history and won the gold medal at the Olympic Games in the Japan, as the first European.
It is also ten years ago that the EJU Honorary Member passed away at the age of 76 years.
A perfect moment to bring a tribute to this judo legend. The best person for it is the current World Champion Noël van ‘t End who won his title in the same place like his idol did.
