The judo calendar shows no signs of slowing down and this week is no exception! From cadets to veterans, from Poland to Algeria, judoka of all ages and skill levels are ready to hit the road. Here is what is in store for the coming days.
Fresh off an action-packed weekend in Samorin, the EJU Cadet Training Camp seamlessly takes over the judo scene in Slovakia. Young judoka eager to test one another throughout an intense three-day training camp from 17-19 February.


Further northeast, Poland is gearing up for its annual Warsaw European Open. With over 600 competitors from 47 nations descending on the Polish capital, the competition is sure to be fierce. Expect a thrilling battle as emerging talents and seasoned warriors clash for recognition. Stay tuned, our detailed preview is coming later this week!
The veterans’ circuit is rolling full steam ahead and where better to kick off the season than Riga, Latvia, the host city for this year’s Veteran European Championships. The Riga Veteran European Cup 2025 will welcome nearly 100 passionate judoka from 16 nations, proving once again that judo is a lifelong sport. Age is just a number when it comes to the dedication and spirit of these competitors.

Meanwhile, Algeria is setting the stage for a judo-packed four days, hosting cadet, junior and senior events at the iconic La Coupole Arena. Over 300 judoka across 19 countries from 4 continents will battle for honours, making it a truly international affair.
