In the occasion of the World Championships the EJU organised its annual Congress. The 63rd Ordinary Congress takes place in the guest hotel Concorde Lafayette in Paris. EJU President Sergey Soloveychik opened the congress and welcomed the attending Honorary guests such as IJF President Marius Vizer, Jean Luc Rouge, Juan Barcos, George Kerr, Kai Lindberg as well as a growing number of partners of the EJU.
Delegates from 45 European nations attended the Congress to listen to the presentations of the EJU and the voted for accepting minutes and proposals of the board.
In advance of the congress the attendees came together for the President’s cocktail to greet each other and meet with the various new presidents and general secretaries installed last year.
